International Readings at Harbourfront Centre
Donations
The Harbourfront Reading Series welcomes your support in maintaining the calibre of talent we bring to you. All donations ($50 and over) are automatically issued a tax receipt. If you would like to help the Harbourfront Reading Series build for the future or would simply like more information, please call Daniel Rondeau at (416) 973-4761.
Patron Memberships
Members who would like to be more involved in our programmes may wish to consider becoming a Patron of the Harbourfront Reading Series. This support enables the Harbourfront Reading Series to continue to bring some of the finest novelists, poets, playwrights and screenwriters to Toronto, where they add greatly to the cultural life of the city and Canada as a whole. In addition to the many benefits listed above, Patrons also receive the following special benefits:
- one complimentary ticket to each reading produced by the Harbourfront Reading Series, including:
- weekly readings;
- themed events;
- themed festivals;
- The International Festival of Authors;
- invitations to special Patron events held throughout the year;
- a tax receipt for the full amount allowable by law.
A one-year Patron Membership for one person is $ 500.00, two people, $ 1,000.00.
Memberships
A Harbourfront Readings Club Membership offers the opportunity to hear the world's best authors of contemporary fiction, poetry and biography all year round.
Valid for 12 months, membership entitles the member to exclusive benefits and privileges:
- free admission to regular weekly readings
- discounts on tickets to special event readings
- advance opportunity to purchase tickets to our Festivals, including our annual International Festival of Authors
- a minimum discount of 10% for all ticketed events at our Festivals
- 10%-15% discount at several restaurants and the Bounty Contemporary Canadian Craft Shop located in and around the Harbourfront Centre site

By joining the Circle of Supporters you will become a leading supporter of The Power Plant. The contributions of our Circle of Supporters allows the gallery to fulfill its mandate of presenting a range of advanced practice in the visual arts and offering a forum in which to encourage debate and further understanding of the arts.
Each benefit listed below presents a unique experience including the opportunity to join private art trips, exclusive access to exhibitions and special collections, and invitations to events specifically designed for Circle of Supporter Members. Recent incentives organized for our Circle of Supporters have included a trip to view the Carnegie International Exhibition in Pittsburgh, a trip to the DIA: Beacon Riggio Galleries in New York, and a guided tour of the McCarthy Tétraut Private Art Collection in Toronto.
