25 a Celebration of Dance will be created with the New York-based company From The Horse's Mouth under Artistic Directors Jamie Cunningham and Tina Carroll - this 25th anniversary event will celebrate the heart and history of dance in Toronto with outstanding dancers and choreographers of all ages and traditions performing together, and telling their extraordinary personal stories.
Hosted by a representaaive of the local dance community, 25 will showcase performers from diverse cultural backgrounds and a multitude of dance styles. From the foundational members of The Toronto dance community, to performers who have grown up on the PDT stage - the cast of each performance will be a true cross section of the history of dance in Toronto.
