Mohammad-Reza Lotfi is one of the greatest contemporary masters of the Tar and Setar. He is among the major figures who, in the past 20 years, have revolutionized the Persian traditional (classical) music. His innovative approach to combining the classical with folk elements, both in terms of music and technique, has injected a new vitality into a very old tradition. This will be the first performance of this ensemble in Toronto.

The Sirius Satellite Radio Stage is a covered, outdoor concert stage. Seating is not guaranteed - both seats and standing room are sold. Concerts happen rain or shine.
