Inside TO's Art World

Contemporary art enthusiasts are invited to experience a behind-the-scenes view of art production and exhibition, from the studio to the collector’s home. Participants will have exclusive access to artists’ studios and a private art collections, as well as to intimate tours of local galleries and museums. Led by members of The Power Plant’s programming team, Senior Curator of Programs Helena Reckitt and Assistant Curators Jennifer Matotek and Jon Davies, each session will focus on a different area of contemporary practice, including sculpture, installation and artists’ film, enabling the exploration of a variety of media and conceptual themes.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with artists, collectors and fellow art lovers, and to deepen your involvement in Toronto’s vital arts community. The program strives to provide a relaxed, dynamic environment for lively discussion are learning, and to demonstrate a shared commitment to the contemporary arts in Toronto.
